ContentEd 2026 is built around some of the big questions facing people working in content, marketing and communications across education right now.

Rather than a programme of isolated presentations, our themed conversations bring different perspectives together around a shared challenge. Expect practical experience, competing ideas, honest discussion and plenty of opportunity to think about what it all means for your own work.

We’re still bringing together the people who’ll lead these conversations - and we’ll be revealing them as the programme takes shape. For now, here’s a taste of what we’ll be getting our teeth into.

Our themes for this year’s conference…

What happens in a themed conversation?

You’ll hear two different perspectives on the theme before we bring them together for a chaired conversation: where do their experiences connect, where do they differ, and what can we learn from both?

Then it’s over to you. Guided peer discussion gives you time to explore the ideas with other people facing many of the same pressures, constraints and opportunities and work out what you might do differently when you get back to your role.

This year’s open themed conversation

We’re keeping one conversation deliberately open. Content changes quickly, good ideas arrive unexpectedly and sometimes the most interesting topic is the one you didn’t predict months in advance. We’ll use this space for a question, challenge or opportunity that emerges as the ContentEd 2026 programme develops.
