Join the ContentEd 2026 volunteer team
Would you like to attend ContentEd 2026, become more closely connected with the ContentEd community and help us make the event brilliant for everyone taking part?
We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support the conference, taking place 4-6 November 2026. In return for working two blocks of approximately four hours during the event, you’ll receive a free place for the full conference which includes access to all conference session recordings long after the event.
We know that professional development and training budgets are particularly tight for many people right now. Volunteering offers a way to access the full ContentEd programme, meet and work alongside others in the community, and become part of the team behind the event.
Volunteer roles will include:
Responding to delegate questions and supporting delegate communications
Community engagement throughout the event
Helping to manage the Zoom Events platform and our 48-hour non-stop schedule
Assisting speakers, hosts and session chairs behind the scenes
Chairing or hosting sessions and panel discussions
We’ll match volunteers with roles that suit their skills, experience and confidence. Some roles will be more technical, while others will suit people who enjoy communicating, organising or helping speakers feel calm and prepared. You’ll be fully supported and will receive training on how to use the event platform too.
You’ll work two agreed blocks of around four hours each and will be free to enjoy the rest of the programme as a delegate.
