Inclusion scholarships

The deadline for applications is 15 October 2025.

As content professionals in the education sector, we have a responsibility to diversity, inclusion and accessibility in the work that we produce and the communities that we represent.

We are committed to ensuring that this extends to the community of professionals who benefit from the events we produce and we are committed to making our audiences as inclusive and diverse as possible.

In recognition that there can be many barriers to conference attendance, we are offering a number of scholarships for the ContentEd online conference.

What is included?

Our inclusion scholarships offer a full conference pass to attend the ContentEd online conference (October 21-22, 2025). This includes access to the recordings of all content after the event.  

We currently have 20 scholarship places available.

Who should apply?

Our inclusion scholarships are designed to remove financial or access barriers for conference attendance. They are open for anyone to apply for, but we particularly welcome applicants who meet one or more of the following statements:

  • Are racialised or from marginalised communities (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, although we wish to acknowledge the limitations of those acronyms)

  • Have a disability

  • Have care commitments to others

  • Are new to content strategy or content design, but at any stage in their life or career

  • Are currently unemployed and with no income or financial means to attend

  • Work for education institutions, non-profit or third sector organisations that do not have training budgets available for you*

  • Have a strong desire to contribute to the development of content strategy and content design professions in the education sector.

*Please note: We believe that large educational institutions such as universities should have training budgets in place for their teams and continue to invest in professional development even in challenging financial times. As such, we ask for your honesty and integrity in making a scholarship application, and ask that you only apply if you genuinely don’t have training budgets in your institution.
