Alex Duffy (he/him) is the student-facing Social Media Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University. Throughout his nine years in higher education, including a previous role as a Digital Marketing Officer, Alex has produced award-winning organic social media content for various audiences including prospective students, current students and alumni.

One of Alex’s proudest achievements is leading on various student content creation schemes, empowering students to shape the way universities communicate while developing vital employability skills.

Outside of his work, Alex has volunteered for non-profits including arts and culture websites, Pride groups and social justice organisations. He is also a keen runner, an avid gamer, and a cat lover.
