Information for ContentEd 2026 keynote speakers

All ContentEd 2026 keynotes are delivered live. Use this page alongside the Speaker essentials page and any individual session briefings received by email.

What to do and when

  • Before preparing: check your agreed presentation length, session date and time, and any question or discussion time.

  • Before the event: rehearse with your slides or demonstrations, provide any agreed materials by your individual deadline and check your joining information.

  • On the day: join at the arrival time stated in your own briefing, ready for your technical check and live presentation.

Preparing your keynote

Build your presentation around clear ideas, practical examples and what you’ve learned. Break it into sections and signpost the main points. Allow time within your agreed slot for pauses, transitions and any planned audience interaction.

Please allow some time in your session for introductions and a Q&A.

Slides and supporting materials

Rehearse any screen sharing, demonstrations, video or audio. Add your slides and any agreed supporting materials to the Google Drive folder for your session by your individually agreed deadline. Slides can be Google Slides, Keynote, PowerPoint or PDF files.

Please pay attention to accessibility best practice in developing your slides and any associated session materials.

Joining and delivering your session

Use your speaker joining instructions shared via zoom events. Check your local date and time and the arrival time in your briefing. Contact Tracy Playle (tracy@contentedlive.com) if you need a technical check in advance or cannot find your invitation.

Before going live, check with your session contact how introductions, timekeeping and any audience questions will work. Please keep within the agreed running order so the next session can start on time.

Please remember that many of our audience members do not speak English as their first language. Please therefore speak clearly and slowly, and be mindful of specific localisms.

The zoom events platform will add live captions to your talk for those who need it and choose to turn it on.
