Finding your voice in the noise
Vicky Hayhurst,
CEO, Hayhurst & Co.
In a sector facing unprecedented change, it’s easy to lose your voice and your motivation. When goalposts move and pressure comes from all angles, it can be hard to speak up for what you know is right and to consistently model effective behaviour.
In this honest and practical session, we’ll explore what it means to consistently advocate for yourself and others. From challenging exclusionary behaviours to pushing back on requests that don’t align with team priorities, this work often requires courage, persistence, and a willingness to be the respectful voice that keeps raising the issue.
Together, we’ll look at how to stay grounded in your values, communicate with clarity, and keep showing up for the right things without losing yourself in the process.
