Building a custom AI assistant without any technical know-how

Tracy Playle - CEO, and founder of ContentEd
Pickle Jar Communications

As you start to explore the potential of generative AI tools, you’ll quickly notice that unless you craft deeply detailed prompts, the outputs that you receive can leave you underwhelmed. Sometimes the effort to write the perfect prompt that actually works, and the revisions needed afterwards, makes the whole process feel inefficient. You’re left thinking: “I may as well have just written that content myself”. Sound familiar?

One answer is to start from scratch and build your own AI tool. But most of us don’t have the coding or complex data science skills to do that easily available. And when such investments in large language models have already been made by others, wouldn’t we just be reinventing the wheel?

There is, however, another way. A way to blend the best of both worlds.

In this workshop, Tracy will introduce you to the concept of no-code AI workflows. Through hands-on demonstrations, you’ll see how with zero coding knowledge you can build a custom generative AI assistant for your institution that is tailored exactly to your needs, your style and tone, your goals, but harnesses the existing developments of industry-wide LLMs. Sit back and listen, or follow along live and build your own tool in real time.

Key Takeaways

  • Understand how to develop a workflow for your use of AI in content generation

  • Learn about the growth of no-code and low-code AI approaches

  • Know how to build a custom generative AI assistant tailored to your institution.
